The 2010-11 football league cup, sponsored by Carling is the 51st season of the football league knock-out competition for England’s top 92 football clubs. Manchester United is currently the defending champions for the second successive season.
Ipswich Town were the lowest ranked and sole remaining premier league side to join Championship Division’s Arsenal, Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Manchester United, West Bromwich Albion, West ham United and Wigan Athletic in the fifth round draw.
The Final will be played on 27 February 2011, at Wembley stadium, London. It promises to be a spectacular event.
